hi guys, is there a way to attach my camera to my laptop as i am taking pics to instantly see the results?, obviously with the usb cable but would i need a specific software? thanks

Your camera needs to be able to shoot tethered i believe and relevant software

I found a nice bit of software a few months ago which does what you are after,
DIYPhotobits Camera Control.

I downloaded version 3.1 and it worked as exactly as described with my D300. It is a tiny little application, so lacks graphical refinement, but does the job which is all that matters.

Well I'm using it on a PC, so I assume PC only, no mention of Mac. :shrug:
