Instead of Sigma 70 - 300mm

Hey all,
Currently I have a Sony A200, which I brought a 2nd hand sigma 70 - 300mm, as it was cheap, now regretting it as I cant use autofocus, through fear of stripping the lens gears, which appears to be a common problem.

Anyway, im wanting to get rid of it, which i'll do at some point, but wanted to start thinking about what to replace it with.

As from above, im on a budget (about £100), and wondered if anyone had suggestions.

The Sony 75-300mm is a better lens, although outside your budget for a new one. You may be able to get a second-hand one for £100.
