Insuring camera on holiday

Wasn't sure where to put this, so please move if in the wrong area...

I have a Canon 60D and a few lenses I'm taking travelling with me for 2 months in Asia. I also have a new GoPro and I'd like to insure them all. All travel insurances I'm looking at for backpackers cover up to £1000 but only £150/item.

Any idea of the best single item insurance policy to get? Or what to do...

It's my parents and I believe it covers it but I'd prefer to have my own insurance rather than use theirs and bump up their premium...

They cover me but they only cover for 28 day trips and I'm going for 58 days. I'm with Halifax and have the £12.50/month card.
