Can someone offer me some advice please.
I've got a Sigma 50-150 f2.8 lens that has a 5mm scratch on the inner lens. Its probably been there from when I bought it, but I didn't notice it until this week.
Lens is less than 12 months old, but I can't find the original receipt either....
The scratch doesn't seem to affect the images, but I'd like to sell the lens as its surplus to requirements.
Unfortunately without the receipt I can't get this repaired under Sigma warranty either.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Who else apart from Sigma could repair this and how much am I looking at.
As I said, I would prefer to sell, even if it was repaired, but it might simply be uneconomic to repair now.
