Ive searched the boards but can't find one about Selling. I have an order for a large Canvas 30 by 20 inches to Australia. Im not sure how the order got through my website as I thought I had it set to Uk only.

Anyway, I don't think I can get the Canvas out there for the price I have charged.

Before I refund the lady and apologise. Does anyone know how to get a large Canvas to Australia and how much would it cost ? I sent a small at Christmas and postage was about £30 by Royal mail. I imagine a large would be extortionate ?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to have it printed in Oz?

IIRC there is at least one Aussie pro who might be able to point you to a good canvas supplier over there.

OR, I can offer my services as a personal delivery option - but I'll need first class tickets for myself and an assistant (I suppose I'd better take Mrs Nod... ;)) along with at least 3 months rental of a suitable vehicle. Oh, and £6,000 fee as well! :D

OR I'd do it for a second class return, I've got friends & family in Melbourn & Tas and it's a while since I've seen them ;)
 
Do a Google.......... the first one I saw has an offer on.
30x 20 inch canvas print £ 33.66
flat rate delivery £9.19
Total £42.85

That is less than most places here.

Where in Australia? It's a pretty big country, no point printing in Melbourne if she's in Perth.

Never print canvases myself, but in Melbourne, take a look at these guys, probably the pro labs that most people use:

I did have to do a canvas for a customer in Tassie a while back, I used Simon at http://www.iccimagetec.com.au/ in Launceston. Probably other options in Hobart if you look around. I never saw the product, but never had any complaints from the customer.

ETA: These are proper high end pro labs, so will cost a bit more than thirty quid.

I got prints done in Melbourne in Fuji Labs, including local delivery nearby there. Both fast and cheap. A$1 = 61p

I never saw the results personally. But had no complaints.
