internet explorer logos on tabs

I will ask here ,as i have looked and cannot find out about the logos that appear on the tabs on internet explorer
they seem no to corrospond to the site i have open ,for example i have theis site in a tab and the logo is for ebay .....
Is there a setting i am missing some where so they link up to the relavant site ,if not can i switch the logos off

if i remember rightly the icon relates to the favicon on the website, if the wrong one is showing i would try clearing your temp internet files

i clean the temp internet file frequently to make sure nothing slows me down on the net i do it manualy and it is also done automaticaly ,also cookies etc are deleted .
if it makes difference i will add i am running windows7 64 bit version
