Internet. Working off line?

After a while of surfing through various web site via my broadband connection, I get my dial up connection box pop up asking me to work off line or connect.
Looking at internet explorer, file, I see the "work off line has a tick, i untick and for a while all works via broadband, but then it happens again.

any ideas what is happening how can i prevet the dial up box from coming up.
I do need the dial up for other work but hardly uses it...

isn't there a setting in your connection settings to use an available connection instead of a dial up? I'm sure there is, in IE options somewhere...

you need to go to Control/internet Properties / Connection
You will see here your settings
you need to select never dial a connection you can also remove any connections you do not use.

Thanks Chaz. Thats it, Some how this got changed as it was set to never dial a conecction..
