I see Apple have been sending out invites "to talk iphone" to industry peeps, the event is the first to be held at Apples HQ.

I do hope they are going to announce to the world a new generation of iphone on the 4th October, I sat out the 4 because it doesn't feel as nice in the hand as the 3gs but my contract is up around Christmas time so it's time for new shiney things ;)
 
I am sure I have watched other events at infinite loop ref iPhone. Maybe mistaken with Mac events.

There is talk of an iPhone 4s, with minor upgrades before a 2012 release of an all new iPhone 5. I hope thats not the case, but we'll find out soon enough.
 
Rumours say a cheap iPhone4 and then the new slimmer/tapered design for the 5 with a larger screen.

Lets see what it's like but I thik the IOS 5 will be a worthwhile update.

Don't say that, I've been out of contract on my 3GS for a month now waiting for the 5. If it's going to be any longer I might have to go on a sim-only deal :shrug:
 
iPhone 4s and possbilly 5, but i think 5 will be next year

Some ipod touch updates (white version)

and OS5 news and release date

I think that will be yer lot
