I'm thinking of buying an iPad to take on holiday for internet connection and to place my photos on to show friends and family.
I am reading through the iPad User Guide at the moment and cannot find any reference on how to download photos from a PC (Windows 7) onto the iPad only reference from an iPhone or direct from the camera.
Is it easy to transfer images from PC to iPad??
I have also read the replies to another posters question on ''Which tablet to buy'' and now wonder whether the iPad is a good option.
Appreciate any help from those that have more experience than me on IPads.......I can wait for another 6 months if something better is around the corner!!
Thanks
Dave

I've just got a 2nd hand ipad "classic" :D Syncing photos is as easy as telling iTunes which folder to sync, and putting the photos into that, either by putting them in sub folders, or just dumping all the photos into a single folder... I have mine like this;

iPad Sync Folder -> Wedding 1
iPad Sync Folder -> Wedding 2
iPad Sync Folder -> Portraits
iPad Sync Folder -> Animals

and so on, when I go into the photos app on the ipad it shows each seperate folder as an album so I can quickly show off which ones I want.

I've also got the Portfolio app for ipad, which is awesome for creating a "proper" portfolio - It does things that the standard photos app doesn't, but it's nearly a tenner :)

I'm using pBase at the moment and have just asked them if they will be doing something similar to Zenfolio...very impressed with their 'free' App.
Thanks for the info.
Anyone else have any experience please.
Dave
