So having just bought myself a shiny IPAD 2 i need a case, and its needs to get here before my ipad. 3 has a 2 week delay at the moment so luckily i have the time to shop around.

I need one that looks smart and isn't to "bold" as im going to be showing clients photos with it. I would prefer front and back protection and something that can sit up at an angle off a desk.

Also dont want it to be flimsy/cheap looking.

So what have you got? what do you use and why?

ps. can anyone tell me where to get a cheap camera connection kit :) and what other accessories (not apps etc) are a must?
 
I brought this one "Targus Truss Leather Portfolio Case Sleeve" from eBay Cost about £12 and it's the best one I've seen by far.

Lovely leather with a teal colour suede inside. Looks and feels very expensive. It also protects the iPad.
 
Yoobao leather cases here, they were around £30 when they came out, but if you search on Ebay there are some of the earlier versions (which seem no different to me, having a MKI and a MKII) for around the £15 mark.

Oh and the Ebay camera connection kits are rubbish, you can have mine (the "new improved" version) for nothing if you want, all it does is bring up a message saying that it's not compatible with the iPad....

I have the cover iPad sell, got it pre-owned off here. Does all I want it too, but I am after a more slip in type one as well but cannot find anything.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions, ive gone with a couple. A slip in one and a leather always on style cover. Flash, thanks for the heads up on the camera connection kits, I'm going to do a little research on one that's capable of reading cf cards. I like the idea of the hdmi tv connection kit to :)

Now to search the forum for the must have apps :)

Targus case here too, neat, smart and very protective. Dropped my ipad2 onto a concrete floor and it just bounced because the case has what look like little bumpers on each corner. Black padded leather looks smart too.

Theres a thread on tp about card readers, search my old posts and you'll find an eBay link to a cf card reader I use with my apple camera kit, works perfectly with ios5.1
 
A timely thread..... I've just picked up a 64gb ipad...... need to get it a pretty dress before it gets trashed :eek:

they look great :) I went with a more "Formal" case for the moment, although im sure that i will be getting others. Now ive just got to wait for it to arrive, come on three!
 
Have a look at Play.Com they have loads of cases for iPads
