Android is where it's at for tablets......when does the Microsoft tablet come out![]()
And if you don't believe me, here's a quote from tonighst broadcast (yes, I'm following, I'm a geek...Their hardware sales are a method of tying you in to software sales... That's their real money maker.
Wonder what Apple kept for themselves - all for some software on a couple of servers somewhere....

Lol at epic. Looks like a nice revision but I see no need to upgrade.

nice revision and price as well...
quick question ... is there a free/cheap app that I can write doc's in and then if needed edit them on a PC ??

Write them in the Notes App, Sync with Outlook and then C&P into a decent text editor like Word.
Anything more complex, or with decent formatting, and you are likely to have to pay for it.
Bah, so its the same old thing, release a product that isn't cutting edge, let time move on a bit and then release something else that is behind the competition, still charging a fortune for it.
I'm not seeing anything that isn't already available with other tablets, at lower cost, barring a little white icon of course..
havent seen apple do this yet?!.....

You didn't say that it was Google Docs you mong!!
Google are in the middle of releasing a mobile version of their Desktop Google Docs software for both iPad and Android.
I suspect that they might have been dragging their heels waiting for this announcement so that it's compatible.
in this case I see much difference...
you wont get as nice screen in other tablets and this performance
if lets say samsung, motorola and HP tablets will be more expensive, will get apple...
have you actually picked up one of the competitions tablets you can buy today?
they suck, big time.
But look at the Advent Vega or Archos 101, both a sniff over half the price and have better functionality.
Best of all you aren't tied in to what Mr Jobs wants to you read/watch etc.
