iPad charging cable?

My OH has an iPad (2 mini IIRC?) and cable has become, in normal usage, quite damaged at both ends where it meets the end plugs! NB seems built in self destruct design

Apple shop says £19 but Amazon Basics brand is about £8.

Can anyone advise/recommend a decent 3rd party cable..........or is Amazon Basics as good as any such non Apple brand one?

Amazon Basics are fine. We have bought other brands, most work some don’t and the quality is variable, so a bit pot luck.

Not used Amazon basics, anker are pretty good - also on amazon

I have ordered an Anker version (@£9.99) as the lifetime guarantee appealed.....should it ever break in the same manner as the Apple one
