iPad video question

Hope it's Ok to as this question.

I've converted a DVD to MP4, copied it to iTunes and tried to copy to my iPad (3). For some reason it won't show/play on iPad :thinking:

I've never had this problem before.

Any help would be appreciated.

iOS 6 did some nasty changes to the way it treats videos depending on their metadata. Have a look for your ripped movie under 'Home Movies'.

If that's where it lives you need to open iTunes - select the movie in Home Movies and right click > Get Info > Options > Media Kind > Movies. It should now appear where it should be.

I now use Metax to correctly tag moves and TV Shows before sticking them in iTunes.

Does it allow you to change the tags?

Hi, did it but still won't show on iPad after synch. I'll give it another go tomorrow.
