Well I stumped........

Since spending 1 hr 40 mins on the phone to AOL t'other night trying to get Broadband back and speaking to "Jack" and "Dave" (don't get me started on that one!!!) in the Indian subcontinent.... am having problems with iphone talking to the wireless router at home.

Both myslef and wife have iPhone 3GS 16 Gb, and until the other night, both worked fine and the phones remembered the networks.

Now I have to "log-in" to the network every time I come hone, however, the better half's remembers it.

Both running same version of OS etc etc.........

Any ideas??

This might sound silly but have you tried removing the wireless network from your phone an re-adding it?

Will try it now!!

Well.........

90mins after the old delete / add (switch off / switch on again) idea from Paul, all is good.......... are you sure you don't work in 1st line IT support for a FTSE100?:lol:

Vishal - thanks for the link - some useful info there, and also links from the link etc.......:thumbs:

2nd line support for a large 3rd party maintenance company. Still the old off/on trick rarely fails

The other one that works is doing a complete restore through iTunes if something less drastic doesn't work. Obviously you're nervous but the back up from iTunes worked perfectly.

Try restoring network settings.
Hold the home key and on/off button down until you see the Apple symbol, it should reset the network settings.
