Ive upgraded from 3g to iP4 and connected to my existing itunes, the problem i have is although i have sync everything, all contacts, photos etc, my apps and albums are not transferring, The music in particular has shown on the gb bar at the bottom saying 4gb used on music but ipod is empty, any ideas anyone? Thanks

In iTunes select the tracks/Albums you want and drag them to the the iPhone device showing in iTunes device bar ( left hand side )

It worked for me

On your iPhone, if you go to the "All Songs" playlist/option is there nothing at all there?

Have you clicked on your iPhone then choose the tabs across the top and actually selected them to sync with the iPhone4?
I am sure I had to tell it to sync everything again.

Hi guys, I read somewhere I had to go to "store" de autherize then autherize, That seems to have worked in a way, Its added all my music now but still got 6gb of ghost stuff on as in I havent a clue, I only upgraded from a 8gb which I had 1gb free so how I now synced and used 14gb somehow, Will try again now

I had the same problem, when you Ipod is connected, click on the Ipod icon and make sure that all the synch check boxes are ticked, some of mine had defaulted to off.
Also my battery life was greatly reduced, and it got hot in use until I followed a tip on here and re-booted it twice.

edit, what Brooksy said!

sorted, Deauthorized>Restore>Authorized>Synced all synced correctly and have 9gb free now
