iphone apps to new macbook

Just bought a macbook air and want to sync the iphone. When I go to sync the apps, it tell me it will overwrite the apps on the iphone with the ones on the macbook (which is none). How do I sync the apps with the new macbook without losing them all?

Hi Marc

It normally gives you a pop-up saying the PC isn't registered for the Apps on the phone, do you want to authorise this machine? You tick yes and it transfers your purchases, another way of doing it is to manual authorise the machine from one of the drop down menus at the top of iTunes.

Brilliant, that worked. Didn't get a pop up but found "transfer purchases from iphone" under File.

13" 128gb. The wife will be using it mostly but I get it if I need to go "offsite"
