iPhone Killer Tips

Lots of threads about iPhones and Apps on here but much in the spirit of Cowasaki's OS Tips for a Year thread, who has got any killer tips for the iPhone? Settings that must be changed to increase usability? Must have apps and other ways to get the most out of your iPhone.

I have just ordered the 32GB 3GS and can't wait to get used to it.

Only turn on 3G and wireless if you really need them - tend to find they suck my battery dry.

To add to that - keep the screen brightness as low as you can bare.

If you use MobileMe or .mac then the new iDisk app it pretty cool, you can access everything on your iDisk from your phone, photos, movies, PDFs, Office Doc's etc.

Holding the home and power buttons for 10 seconds will reset the phone. Useful for when the screen refuses to come to life.

In safari settings, turn on Autofill

I just keep finding things I didn't know about and don't even know if they are new. Just discovered that it you are looking at your list of emails and brush right across an email the [DELETE] button appears on it. Saves pressing [EDIT] then [DELETE] then confirming it.

So that's why U keep getting pics of my screensaver on my iphoto's! I never knew that...

Anyone tried the Camera Genius app, looks very good
