iPhone not scrolling to end of message o

Not sure if this is in the correct forum section but here goes.
When I am trying to reply to a long pm and I can't see the bottom of it on my iPhone 3gs I can't seem to scroll the messages down to get to the end to add my reply.

Anyone else had this problem and got round it somehow Rhe only way I can see is to keep deleting half of what I am replying to so it gives me some room :s

Yes, mine does it and it hella annoying, however somehow the other day I managed to get the reply box to scroll instead of the page. But I dont know how I did it, and havent been able to do it since. To get round it, I have been replying above the quoted text instead of below as I usually do.

There is a way to get there, but it's not quick!

If you press and hold in the body of the text so that you get the magnifying glass, you can drag that to the bottom of the text box and, slowly but surely, it will scroll down the text until you reach the end quote tag.
