Allways been a fan of US tog, Art Wolfe. He has uploaded a gallery of images from Myanmar he has taken using his iPhone. HERE
Just goes to show what you can do when you know how.
Enjoy

I have always liked taking photos on my iPhone and trying to see if I can create anything as good as what my DSLR can do. Not quite there yet but the tools available on the iPhone gives me the chance keep editing on the move.
I never quite get this....have an iphone myself but if I ever want a usable camera I'll swap the SIM into my 4-5 year old Sony Ericsson which actually does take respectable shots!
wow, that really is quite impressive. One thing we need to remember though, its not the camera that takes the good shots, its the photographer. Lots of people assume that having a good camera means you take good shots, which is why others have asked to borrow my equipment in the past, which I find rather annoying. Its like being obliviously ignorant.

There is far too much emphasis on technical perfection these days and granted it may well have its place...
...but taking photos for the sake of it whilst actually enjoying the challenge of trying to make interesting images "with the one that's with you" is, in my mind, just as capable of producing respectable images...
Beauty is in the eye and all that jazz...
And who can be bothered faffing around with sim cards anyway...
I got an iphone back in November and never dreamt I would use the camera feature, but I have to say it produces surprisingly good results and often I've taken pictures I wouldn't have otherwise been able to simply as I won't have a camera with me. Of course it's not going to up to SLR standards but doesn't mean you can't have some fun and capture that moment.
Sometimes having all the controls taken away makes you think more about composing and taking your shot.
