Currently im on a sim only plan with 02 for something like 7.99 a month.
I can change it to a 19.95 tariff with unlimited wifi or unlimited web bolt on.

If I do that could I buy an Iphone and then use it for the net for free?

If I understand the question right you mean surfing for free... :shrug: ... yes unlimited if you pay for the bolt on... ... but not tethering... ... legally like...

I don't see why not, although I don't believe unlimited internet is truly unlimited, on the iPhone contract it is completely unlimited that said I've only used about 2GB downloads in 4 months.

I bought the iPhone on PAYG. I don't use the phone enough to warrant the £35.00 per month, but I do use it all the time for internet access and e-mails.

You can not use your existing PAYG sim. You will be given a new sim with a new number.

You get unlimited internet access for the first year, after that it'll cost you a tenner a month for unlimited internet access.

If you opt for the contract then unlimited internet access is included in the monthly cost.

You can use any O2 sim in the iPhone, either contract or PAYG, you get a new SIM & number with the PAYG handset, but don't have to use it.

No such thing as truly unlimited mobile internet - all those tariffs are subject to fair usage policies.
