Iphone repair?

Wife smashed the glass screen on her Iphone the other day, and mine needs a new LCD as mine is shot as well.

Anyone recommend somewhere reliable to get the repairs done?

I've done my own repair by buying the screen off ebay (£12 ish) - done it twice now as the wife keeps breaking it!. First time is a bit fiddly as you have to heat the old one up to soften the glue Apple have used but 2nd time was a doddle!

Plenty of videos on YouTube showing how it's done - i'd say you need to be mildly DIY competent before having a go....

a simple DIY job mate , get urself a new screen from ebay ,ideally will come with some tools , 1-2 Hrs job ,,, whatever u do , u can not go wrong

Is the replacement of the LCD on mine a simple DIY too?

You can buy the glass (which includes the touch sensitive bit) and the LCD components separately - the LCD is easier than the glass to replace although I'm guessing on yours you would need both bits!
