iPhoto Book Problem

I shoot RAW using a Canon 40D. In terms of Color Profile, most are Adobe RGB (1998) and a few are Camera RGB Profile (from my Olympus mju.)

I am using 21.5" iMac - OS X (10.6.2.) - iPhoto 8.1.1.

I tried 5 times to submit the same order to Apple. Each time I got the following e-mail back:

"Unfortunately, we were unable to process your order because the files received contained data that was unreadable or otherwise unprintable. Your order has been cancelled and your credit card will not be billed.
This was caused by one of the following:
1. Upload Error. Loss of connection or file corruption during order upload may cause an incomplete order. Resubmitting your order usually resolves this issue.
2. Low Disk Space. If your computer is running on low disk space, your files may be assembled incorrectly. Create more space by deleting unused files.
3. Unreadable PDF file or image files. Files are sometimes assembled incorrectly due to CMYK or Grayscale color space. Use the RGB color space for best results.
Please make the necessary adjustments and resubmit your order for processing."

In terms of Point 1 no files are corrupted (as far as I know) and my connection is excellent.
Point 2 - I have 1.75TB of space!
Point 3 - I wouldn't think this makes any difference since iPhoto just uses the jpg files any way. The total file size I am sending is 39MB - if it were the RAW images being sent it would be more like 440MB.

From advice on another forum I then used Photoshop CS3 to change all Color Profile "Adobe RGB (1998)" pics to sRGB. and all Color Profile "Camera RGB profile" pics to sRGB. Now all the pics in the book have the sRGB Color Profile.

I created a pdf version of the book as advised elsewhere. It worked perfectly in 'Preview' as well as 'Adobe Reader'.

The file was sent to Apple but then I got the same error message e-mail (above) again.:gah:

It is a shame that the error e-mail Apple send out isn't more specific.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm gutted over the amount of time I spent creating the book and was hoping to provide my wife with a really nice present for Christmas!

Help!
