Iphoto deleting help

I may be stating the obvious, but have you tried searching for the file names in Spotlight?

If you just choose one, you should be able to see the folders it's in and then hopefully see which other files are in the same folders too.

When you delete photos in iPhoto it moves them to the iPhoto recycle bin, but does not delete them. It's all part of iPhoto's non destructive editing method, even when you delete them they're still retrievable.

If you load up iPhoto and look through the menus you'll find an option that says 'Empty Trash' or similar. Clicking this should give you a confirm delete box and confirming that should remove them from your hard drive.

Gonna ring apple on monday as still can't find them and got 450mb left on harddrive!!! Plus point is on tuesday i can delete all school coursework as will all be marked etc.
Have backed photos etc all on external harddrive but scared incase that goes wrong too.

did you do this though?

like he said, all you need is one filename and after searching for that you'll find them all
