I was staying at a B&B whilst on my travels this week, landscapes are a bit hit and miss for me however I was driving down a single track lane and pulled into a passing place to let a tractor by and took this out of the car window.

I still feel its missing something and not quite the shot I had in my head.

No sure about this one either, i think with so much black in the frame, the border is a little too harsh. What distracts me here i think is the hump (i take it they are rocks) in the center of the frame, and for that matter the tree on the far LH edge.
I think i would probably loose the rocks and the tree to create some clear space on the LH side, just my 2d.

A difficult one which Steve has already indicated the overall black makes it very hard to identify the various objects within the photo.
Setting up in your mind sometimes does not work as planned,seems this was one of those occasions.

I think for a silhouette to work really well, the subject matter has to be easily recognizable. Not a winner for me this I'm afraid.

Thanks for the comments I think the clouds needed to be higher. I'll keep trying
