Is anyone using an NEC 2490 or 2690wuxi with Spectraview2 software? (in Europe)

I'm considering buying an NEC 90 series monitor, although only if I can get the hardware calibrated with the NEC Spectraview software. In the US that's easy, you buy the monitor and buy the software. Over here, NEC are selling Spectraview monitors (that are out of my budget), but they're not selling the software separately, and it's also not clear whether the European 90 series would work with software bought from the US.

So has anyone tried Spectraview software with a Europen 90 series monitor?

Bought myself an ex-display Eizo CG222W from ebay.
