Is Clive power hungry?!!

A few days ago I purchased a Nikon SB900 flash to replace my SB600.

Now I was using rechargable batteries (2500mah) but I did see something on Nikon's website showing a SB900 with 2600mah batteries.

So are my existing batteries powerful enough for the SB900?

They'll work fine, you'll just get longer life and faster recycle times with more powerful batteries. I'm using 2450mah and 2650mah in my SB900.
