Is Liverpool still at war with Hitler?

Yes
Just back from a trip down the dock road in Liverpool. Saw these posters next to some derelict buildings (which we managed to get inside!)
The posters look almost new and maybe are intentionally "distressed". Lost of posters about the war and the push for victory. Posters don't look 70 years old, and the fence that most of them were on certainly isn't that old.

What on earth is going on?

Art?

Well having seen this year's Turner Prize selection anything is possible.

Possibly used as a film set?

Yes. It has been suggested that Foyle's War TV series was filmed in Liverpool. They were certainly at the local aerodrome with a replica Spitfire. Could be that they were using derelict land as a backdop. There's plenty derelict land around Liverpool docks!
Wew never watched it so can't really comment.
