when taking a pic as you press the button to the first position there is a very noticeable jump in the image view finder
Does this every time and you have to readjust your shot slightly
IQ seems fine is this normal for this type of tampon lens
all my canon lens are perfect so definitely the lens not the camera

Is it the VC working? have you tried it on compared to with it off.
 
I did suspect it was the vc however none of my canon lenses do it you cannot tell with them
It appears the tamron VC is not a patch on canons IS or nikons VR jsut read that on a review site lol
This is the only non canon lens I have certainly don't think they are worth the saving over the price of the oe canon lenses
