Is the Panasonic LX7 an upgrade from my Canon S95?

Hi I'm looking for some advice , my current compact camera is a Canon S95 and I have a bit of GAS at the moment and have spotted an LX7 at a good price
but I just want to know if it would be an upgrade in IQ terms or is there not a lot in it. Has anyone had both and could advise me please ? GAS is a terrible affliction!!!
 
The LX7 will have a faster lens through it's range, 3D tracking and some other features. Whether it's a big enough improvement for you and worth the upgrade only you can answer. Myself I would look at the Fuji X30, Sony RX111 or if you want a big jump in IQ look at the the Fuji X100, but its going to be a bigger camera.

I have had the LX7 and Fuji X20 and for me I prefered the Fuji, I found the LX7 colours too yellow for me SOOC. Theres a thread on here for the LX7 and theres some cracking images on there.

Hi Swanseajack thanks for the reply. I had a Fuji X10 during the summer but had to return it when it started having Focus Error messages every so often so my confidence in Fuji isn't great
though I found it a great camera to use when it worked ! I have looked at X20's on ebay but they are out of budget at the moment. So this is where the panny comes in to the picture but if it has no improvement
in iq I will keep looking!!
