Right. I have got a Nikon D3000, but I wanted more zoom. So I attached my old Sigma 70-300 lens I used on my Nikon F70, however. I am lacking the Auto Focus as I dont have the motor in my camera.
So I'm now relying on using turning the ring in order to focus on my subjects, and in Sports photography this is difficult for me.
Now I would like another 70-300mm lens, that I can use AF with. Now I dont want to break the bank, so I spotted the Tamron 70-300mm lens, which is very cheap. However, the reviews I have seen are not amazing. And im wondering, if I purchase this lens, will I actually be achieving anything but having AF? Will it be better quality, or will it be bad?
I hope people understand where Im coming from
