Is the WiFi connection on a Nikon D8xx Secure

As title, is the wifi connection on the Nikon D8xx range secure as I know the wifi usb dongle I use for the D610 cam be picked up by any receiver near by.

What do you mean by "the wifi connection on the Nikon D8xx range"?

The D800 / D800E doesn't have wifi built in. You need to attach a WT-4 wifi transmitter.
The D810 / D810A doesn't have wifi built in. You need to attach a WT-5 wifi transmitter.
The D850 uses SnapBridge, which transfers images over Bluetooth rather than wifi. Or you can attach a WT-7 wifi transmitter.

So which technology exactly are you asking about?
