Is there any way to retrieve ...

I had a call from the police a little while ago, about an accident that happened outside our house in February.

Now it sounds like the people involved are trying to pull a fast one.

Now I got some shots after the accident ... I say 'I' when in fact I sent Chris upstairs to take them out of the bedroom window But because they were such rubbish I deleted them. Then I deleted them from my recycle bin to .

So is there any way for me to retrieve them? or is that really it .. gone and lost forever?

Sandisc Rescue Pro will probably be able to retrieve something. It all depends upon whether the disc sector has been overwritten.
You could have a try with some of the "free to try" programs available but they usually prevent you from actually copying them to another area/disc.

So those Sandisc things are not just for retrieving images deleted from your CF cards? :shrug: Shows how much I know! Now to find one ...

VAIOSoft recovery manager is very good.. www.vaiosoft.com - have retrieved images from it in the past.

I use Recuva, free download. It will recover files from cards and drives. With Vista I have to sign on as administrator to scan the C: drive otherwise it just says "access denied".
