Yes
Looking to buy a DSLR and there's an ad on Gumtree.

A Canon EOS 10D "complete with Canon 18-105 lens and UV filter ideal for all general photography. Boxed and complete with manuals, software, charger and will even include a 4gb CF card" for £225.

Is this a good deal or not? This is my first step into digital SLR's so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to price.

I had a 10d.. great camera at the time.... but the 20d is a lot better and you can pick up for same price as the 10d now...

Ah okay then, I'll give it a miss. Tried to see what was on the classifieds here but it's hard to find cameras through all the lenses >_<

If you want to check out camera bodies, have a look at these 2nd hand dealers.

Camtech, Ffordes, Mifsuds, Park Camera's, Digital Depot and MPB. They usually have a good selection of used equipment.

I've not long bought a 10D body for £125, I really like it and the great thing about it is it is brilliant for IR just with a R72 filter!

Janice, how could you? I'll be gutted when my 20D goes to camera heaven.

i cant afford to keep 2 now! i have a gf1 for everyday, and a 40d for the odd wedding, portrait etc.

I don't think there is a Canon 18-105mm.

that's what I was wondering. If it's a 28-105mm, then depending on the version it's potentially not a bad deal at all.

I picked up a Canon EOD 300D for £249 today :)

I know but I got 1 year warranty, 2gig card and got it in my hands on the day so worth it to me.
