Hi Guys,

like a few people know, i have been lookin for a new camera either a canon eos 500d or 550d, well i have found one on ebay, and the guy has sed he will do the deal of the canon eos 550d which is 10months old and it includes all of this

and about 2months warranty and its had 4500 shutter closes is this all good please some one just agree or help me out weather i'm wasting my money or not.

I got my 550d from Amazon a few months ago for £500 (and there was £30 Canon cashback at the time). Camerapricebuster lists Amazon as the cheapest still now at £513 for body only.

Me personally, I wouldn't get the eBay one. Its £420 now, with a week left. Let's assume it goes to £450 at cheapest. For the sake of £60 you're losing all piece of mind. He could be an honest seller and the warranty is genuine. But Dixons are notorious for difficult returns and that's on the assumption they wouldn't give you a hard time as you weren't the original buyer.

Yes, the eBay one has a lens and memory card, but I for one can't afford to throw over £450 down the drain and I think the saving versus risk is not worth it.
 
You should keep an eye on the argos/currys ebay pages as well as the forum sale pages for better deals tbh.
