Is this an Egret

Saw this amazing looking bird preening itself along a srtetch of river yesterday, so pulled the car over and rattled of a few shots. Not great quality i know but he must have been a 100yds away but managed to get these with the 170-500 and with a bit of heavy cropping well what do you think?

Yep yellow feet = little egret

Little Egret. These only used to be visitors to these shores but we now have a well established resident population, mostly on the South and East coasts. Lovely birds!
