Is this flash a good flash and a good deal?

It looks like a pretty good deal if you're after this flash, but not astounding. It does ETTL for canon and has some level of manual control which is good, but the flash power could be a bit higher. I think the Yongnuo from ebay/amazon is excellent value but that doesn't do ETTL. Digital SLR Photographer mentioned budgets flashes and street price for the Nissan was £80.

metz have some feature rich flashes at that price range too

Good price for a good flash. It's a step above the cheap Chinese stuff like Yongnuo (in reliability and build quality).

Plenty of features, including wireless slave use activated by another flash, including the pop up on the camera.
