I'm on a very limited budget, and have a Canon 350D with standard 18mm-58mm. Saw this on ebay and wondered if its worth it? I'd really like some advice on what it would/could do and would it work on mine? I'm not overly experienced with equpiment but would like to take a step in the right direction.

I used these when I started messing about with Macro. For the money they are ok:thumbs: You'll never get the same quality as a decent dedicated Macro lens but they'll be fine to get you going. You will get some decent shots. Go for it
 
Ok cool thanks! Does the one actually give you a bit more wide angle? I've got a wolf photography session soon so i'm wanting something that would boost up my images but something thats simple to get me started.
 
Sorry, I've only used tha Macro ones, I haven't got the wide angle one so can't comment on that.
 
Yes the wide angle converter is OK, I have used a similar one, not as good as a dedicated wide angle but not bad.

I bought the wide angle and the telephoto add on lens from ukpartsdeal and had to send them back as they were not very good quality at all. The seller was excellent and refunded as soon as he received them back.

There are some cheaper macro lenses here that I am considering
(I have no connection to the seller and can not vouch for them)

EDIT TO ADD: The wide angle cropped the image into a circle (Vignetting?) and didn't really offer more than the 28mm on my Fujufilm S9600 to be honest. However, the image was OK. The telephoto adapter only focussed a tiny circle of the centre of the image and the rest was all OOF. The part in focus was very soft and not usable.
 
Yes i got the wide angle converter yesterday and did notice that it turned the image into a circle and sort of cut off the corners, but i've only tested it out in the house, but then i think i might return in if its going to do that as i dont really want my images ruined! Thanks for the heads up!
