Isles of Cumbrae & Arran

Nice photo it looks like a painting... stunning view.

I would maybe have added a little neutral density filter effect to the sky to bring the clouds and mountains out a bit but that's just my taste

I have to admit I prefer the original.
I find the colours in the edit to be eye-wateringly saturated.
 
Maybe dodge and burn the sky a tad.

I don`t like the edit either,too blue for me i`m afraid.
 
Thanks for the feedback, I'm still getting to grips with photoshop, there's so much to take in and I'm mainly concentrating on RAW at the moment, I'll have a wee look at dodge & burn later.

I had a wee play with the lighting on the sky and mountains, also gave the sky a crop, I think it's helped the mountains stand out slightly better, what do you think ?
