Isn't there an interval setting for the 5D?

As the title says - I was hoping there was a function on the 5D MKii to allow a photo to be taken, say every 20 seconds....

Or do I have to buy a TC-80N3?

Intervalometer is the way to go, but there are cheaper 3rd party alternatives to the TC-80N3 if the cost is a factor.

No, there is not an interval setting.

I've got a Hahnel Giga T Pro intervalometer, which costs about £60 and is also a wireless remote. Or you can get knock-offs of the TC-80N3 for £30ish (vs £120 for a real one).

You can pick up interval timer releases on the 'bay for £15-20. I just ordered one for my D300 from Link Delight for £15.

I'll get a timer - I just didn't want to purchase one to find out there was a custom setting.
