Hi Everyone,
I posted last week for advice on how to stop motion blur when shooting at a music gig in low light. I have a canon 450d and shot in AV mode. I set the ISO to 1600 at f1.8 using a 50mm prime lens. This setup seemed to limit the amount of motion blur I got however I found it really difficult to obtain focus. Using AF point selection I found that the circle that lights up through the viewfinder to indicate focus is obtained just flashed suggesting focus couldn't be obtained. Looking back through my shots quite a few are out of focus or haven't focused where I intended. Can anyone advise why I was unable to obtain tyhe focus points I wanted? Since I bought the camera I haven't used manual focus at all as I'm not familiar with how it works, would this have helped?
I am a complete beginner therfore any help or advice on this would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Danny
