Stepped off the bus and had a bit if a WTF? moment on my way to work this morning.
At first I thought it was a weird cloud formation, but it soon became apparent that the sun had burned off most of an early fog, but left us with these sunrays bouncing off the glazing of The Shard, a skyscraper by Renzo Piano that's being built next to London Bridge station.
Fortunately, I had my Panny G2 with its kit lens secreted in my laptop bag...
This is at the junction of Queen Elizabeth Street and Tower Bridge Road

round the corner on Gainsford Street, a different angle of incidence produced a different effect.
