Finally after all the shall I shan't I, my canon 15-85 has arrived, my eBay bargain at £350 it's immaculate and I'm very pleased!
First impressions are how quiet it is I now no where there the money goes! It looks like a proper lens and can't wait to get out and about with it!!
 
Excellent lens. My main lens for my 7D.
 
I just can't believe how quiet and smooth it all is, up until now all I've owned are tamrons!! An 18-270 and 17-50 and also a canon 55-250 which I still have!
I couldn't understand what people meant when they said that the focus motors on said lenses are a bit noisy and the build quality a bit naff, it's only now when I have this lens in my hands that I completely understand!!

Been out today with lens on my 60d and its so good! Was worried that it wasn't focusing but it was I just couldn't see! It's just so much faster and quieter compared to my old lenses! Anyway huge thumbs up for this lens I'll post some shots up tomorrow!!
