i need some help

i had a problem a while back and did several back up's my itunes as my phone was going back to o2 i had 2 faulty phones and basically when i reinstalled all my app's pics etc from the latest back up it did not put all my photos back on

so i have the itunes cache so i can go back i persume , and open these files but i can't do this as it is blank and nothing in the folder can any one help retrive these image ,there are some important one's , wife in diffrent stages of pregnancy and load more that mean alot to me

yes i have learnt to back them up in a diffrent way now lol

There should be iPhone back up files which should be here - Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup. If you can locate this then you should be able to restore the data.

I love my iPhone but hate iTunes - I really do like nearly everything that Apple do (I know it's an easy bandwagon to jump on) but iTunes is truly awful in snyc'ing with hardware.

Try Mediamonkey as an alternative!

If the folder I have listed is where you are looking and it is empty then you might have to dig a little deeper. There are loads of Mac forums which will be able to chip in with help on this.

my problem is this was a few months ago and never had much time to look at it so want to do it while i have 5 mins

i belive the files are there i just cant open them or when i do there blank

The iphone photos can be backed up by windows photo viewer (without using itunes), which is very handy, and you never know, you might have done it without realising..check your pictures folder... just in case. Paul

done this about 50 million times now lol
