Well it was 1990 - Stormin Norman was in Iraq, our British Airways Flight flew via Bankok instead of Bahrain, then via Belgium to avoid the war zone.
I'll never forget my first sight of the Thames at dawn after flying from Melbourne half way around the world!

But I would NOT recommend staying in the underground next time though... ... things have changed since you were last here and hotels are generally better...

Hi Nathan, you're right, you can't stand by the plane like that now but you could in Melbourne twenty years ago before the world went mad.

Well Sandra is booked on a flight to London on April 9th but she refused to take me along - she says that I wrecked her last trip! :shrug:
So this time she'll just have to beg on her own in the Underground.
