Scotland I've got stuck!

I know that this may seems like a “newbie” question, but I am eager to capture images of people (models).

I can get people – and have some ideas for outdoor locations (I’m based in Edinburgh, UK); but with winter on its way, my mind returns to finding indoor locations (I don't have a studio)

I’m not seeking any "standard white box" - what I am looking for are unique places: locations which help to add atmosphere and/or help to express (or enhance) an emotion or story.

It seems like a cliche to mention Bill Brandt…

Even so, I have a series of images planned - but I've got stuck with finding where!

If anyone has any suggestions/collaborations would be appreciated.

This will seem like a strange question to ask a new member but are you a member of purple port?

Over there they have searches you can do of local models and photographers.

I have found a few places around here that I never knew existed before simply by trawling through.
