...on a new 80-200mm f.2.8 Nikon :) Away all this weekend so won't be able to get my mitts on it until Monday at the earliest... can't wait :) :)
 
is that the AF-D - it's a great lens - my second most used lens
 
thats the lens i am trying to decide should i buy it, circa £1500 ouch
 
surely not - the 70-200mm VR is around that price
 
whoops yes, thats the one i want, cannot afford the prime lens
 
the 80-200mm AF-D is a great lens - no Vr - AND A LOT CHEAPER
 
im obvously getting the wrong end of the lens:bonk:
i still want the vr as i have a slightly disabled right hand and i find vr helps
 
A part of me really wants the old one-touch (push-pull) version of this lens. I just like push-pull as a zooming mechanism.
 
It is a mighty fine lens,I`m sure you`ll enjoy using it...........:thumbs:
