Yes
I did a shoot with this model earlier this year and a Bollywood pop star saw my image on her portfolio and wanted to use it for his latest album cover. As part of the albums promotional material, they made these posters and printed out some 2 million CD covers.

Here is the poster with the model stood in front of my photo (Not taken by me) and I am well chuffed.

Cool and well done. Perhaps you've found a new gap ini the market?

Thanks Alex, if I could find a gap in this market I'd soon be shooting with a couple of Hasselblads LOL

Even if you only got a tenth of a penny per cd printed that would be a nice little earner. ;)

Please tell us you got paid and they didn't just take the images from the Model's site?

Yes I did get paid and still retain the copyright. I was contacted out of the blue by this singers agent, ask if it was possable to use this photo and had a short period of email negotiations, and did the deal, Quite straight forward really.

Thanks for your interest and comments guys, very much appriciated.

good answer, and photo :D

Very well thanks.

Really busy, studio is getting plenty of use now thankfully. Just had a Pole installed ;)

Dont forget we still owe you one.

In India the movies are largely seen as vessels to move music, so you've got a pretty awesome deal. Those CD's will be everywhere.

Good job! I've had my share of bollywood music videos - they call them movies - in Indian hotel rooms.. not my cup of tea but fascinating anyway :)

If you have the full copyright etc, can you show us the original pic?

 congratulations  massive well done.....

.....no one has asked but I bet the want too......... how much did you get??? :D
