Jacobs flash

Saw one the other day for 79.99 would this be a good starter flash for me to buy . I like macro photography so defuzer I would have to get as well.. Also say for instance for concert shots if I go to any gigs would this cut the mustard if not to far away. .. Thanks for any advise

Strangely enough just been on there website and can not find any Jacobs flash guns but it may have been a metz brand with there name on it

Depending on what brand of camera you have the Jessops flashguns are meant to be fairly decent and cheap.

I had a Jessops flash which was a rebranded Metz

It was good value for the money but I soon outgrew it and invested in a Nikon SB600

Not sure if you'll get away with using one at gigs tho

cheers flash have read good few reviews on it and for the price most people are happy with it
