This is from Japfest earlier this year. Don't ask me why but I only took my 5D MKII and 17-40. As I said, no idea why!

I think it's a great shot, really evocative of what racing really is all about, driver against driver.

In colour I think the grain detracts - make it look somewhat unsharp - but I reckon a mono conversion with the grain just a tad less would work great.

I really like the idea in this image, BIG sky, panning track and a crisp car. However it might of been nice to see it from a closer, lower angle which would make more of the main feature, the car. Obviously easier said than done! Hope the day was a blast, i'm hoping to make it the event next year
