Jay getting bolder

There were three of them around this morning. I notice when they are around the Jackdaws keep well clear & as there are way too many Jackdaws, I suppose the Jay's are doing me a favour!

Great shot.. I have never got round to shooting birds. not my thing.

Though yesterday there were three Jays messing around in my garden an tree. I have never had them visit till this year. I get loads of Jackdaws, every sort of tits and finches. and a few pigeons and doves.

how do you tell male from female jackdaws.

Nice shot. I wouldn't have thought that Jackdaws would be scared of Jays but it is good that they are keeping the Jackdaws away.
